Ashley, Before the Daylights' Shot is simply the best CD I've listened to in a year. I saw you last fall at the Jesus House. I have a new appreciation for what a fine guitar player you are also. God Bless Steve

Hey, Ashley! I'm not sure if you remember me, but I was a Pi Phi with you back at UTK in the 70's. My husband and I have the youth choir at our church (Broad Street United Methodist) here in Cleveland, Tn. I was searching some Christian music websites and came across yours. Wow! You've come along way since those days where we used to come hear you sing down on the "strip" at UT. I'd love to hear from you, and again, congrats!

Hi Jan--my memory is absolutely abominable--but I do remember enjoying being part of Pi Phi and how much I liked the "sisters"! All the best to you and your family--I led a youth choir for a year at my church and really loved it. A |

I heard Gail MacDonald speak twice in Boston.I hope you'll get to know her too as well! If by some chance, you're in Austin during your Texas Trek, please come worship with us at Austin City Life downtown @ the Hideout! Blessings in Christ to You & Yours.

We had a fantastic time with Gordon MacDonald last summer but Gail wasn't able to come on that trip so we haven't gotten to meet her yet. Thanks for the invitation--would love to visit your church sometime. A |

Ashley, Thanks so much! Your music is keeping me energized as I finish writing my dissertation on effective leadership in the urban high school. You keep my fingers grooving! My son Bill is an emerging keyboardist (shades of Dream Theater and Glass Hammer). You can check out his first CD on his website @ billalexson "dot" com

Hi Andrew--hope your dissertation is long finished by now--I'm incredibly impressed and I can tell you that the closest I'll ever get to a dissertation is on your stereo while you work on yours! A |

Hi Ashley, I've enjoyed your music for years, back since Bus Named Desire, and I loved the live album. Kinda lost track lately, but was reading an article about Steve Winwood tonight and saw that he worked with you on "Men and Angels Say". Downloading it now from iTunes. Looks like I may need to pick up "Daylight" too!

Ashley, I love the new cd and can't stop playing it. My favorite song is "Streams of Mercy". The show at the Pavilion was incredible and as a guitarist myself, I'm floored by your melodic style of playing. You are a true inspiration to me. God Bless, Mark McLane
