You're a powerhouse, woman! Thanks so much for bringing your light to Dallas at Grace Bible Church. With just your voice and your guitar, you sound like an entire band. Your song "Broken Places" is extremely moving. I can't wait to wear out the CD.

Hi there; I was finally able to get ahold of 4 of your cd's and listen to them all the time. When my mom passed away the Hymn's were the greatest comfort for me; thanks for that one. I so look forward to the new one that is coming out; I can hardly wait. You are a blessing and the Lord's hand is upon you and your music. Just know that you are appreciated. In His love; Pastor Vasha

Ashley -- I really love your version of "What A Friend We Have in Jesus".I've been trying to figure it out by ear and am running into some problems here and there. Is there any way I would be able to get the chord chart for it?
February 16, 2009 -- 20:00:04
Ashley replies:
Hi Catherine--you've probably figured out the chords by now--it's pretty simple--if not drop me an email and ask Rose to forward it to me and I'll make you a tab. Sorry for the delay--I really lose track of time... |

Hi Ashley. I just came across your website and had to write you. I think you have one of the best voices in the music biz. I first came across you while watching a old tv show where you were doing paper thin with John Hiatt. Right then and there I became a instant fan. Your version of Gimmie Shelter on Stones country tribute also just blew me out of the water. Do you ever get to the Phoenix area. I would love to meet you and give you a copy of my book Rock and Roll Rush in which you are mentioned. If I was a music star I would surely ask you to be in my band. Do you ever listen to Mavis Staples. Another great singer. Oh well got to run. God Bless and if you have the time please respond. Love Larry Hull

Ashley, would you consider posting your version of "Higher Ground" on the tabs page? Thanks so much. Love your versions, girl.

Ashley replies:
Hi Cindy--I don't do tabs of any songs but my own (with the exception of the hymns) it's really pretty easy--just a blues shuffle in E. If I ever meet you I'll teach it to you in about 2 minutes. A |

The show at Puckett's was sold out Saturday! Please, do it again soon.we were so disappointed not to be able to attend. The venue is not important (except the Bluebird.tooo small!).just somewhere in the city would be good. It's been way too long since I have seen you live, and Saturday night was to have been the night.
